Two different ways to think about abortion

  Abortion is a one of the controversial topic in today's society. Abortion is termination of human's pregnancy. Women get abortion, because they do not want to give birth to the baby. This controversial topic contains two main sides. One group, pro-life, wants to ban abortion, while the other group, pro-choice, wants to keep abortion legal.

   The first picture is a protest by anti-abortionist. According to this photo, the main idea behind their anti-abortion movement is to "defend life". There are many families who are unable to conceive, and yet people choose to get abortion. More than that, getting an abortion means killing the baby in the woman's womb. They are killing a live fetus that could one day become a healthy living child. Anti-abortionists want to stop abortion.

   The second picture with the data shows what kinds of people get abortions. Almost half of the people who get abortion have income below poverty level. If the mother can barely feed herself, she cannot possibly feed her child. About one out of five abortions are obtained by women in their teens. Teenagers are immature and pregnancy was probably one of their immature mistake, because teens have not completed their education, do not have proper job, nor have the time for their unborn child.

These two picture tell different stories on the topic of abortion. The anti-abortionist picture tells us why people want to ban abortion. They want to save the life of an alive fetus. The data picture tries to justify why women get abortions.
